Mozilla has updated its draft Seamonkey, leading to its application to version 1.1. However, it's not the latest version available.
Among the improvements over previous versions, version 1.1 offers security indicators such as those found in the new browser / email client, spell checking, and much more updated ChatZilla. You can read the release notes with the complete list of changes on the website of the company.
If you find sites that are not well with SeaMonkey, you can tell the new development team that will try to fix it soon. Regarding mail, it's now compatible with AOL and supports the TLS protocol.
Version 1.1 offers new features such as:
-Using the same rendering engine of Firefox 2 and Thunderbird 2
-Improved anti-phishing filter in your email account
-The safety indicators in the web browser have become more visible
-Image preview of the contents of each tab in your web browser
-New version of ChatZilla, the chat program
-Spell checker built into the browser
-Improved startup script for the Linux platform
